gagan 3fe7f307ab fix(code-mode): use System32 bsdtar to extract engines on Windows (#626) ... Enabling Claude/Codex in Settings -> Code Mode failed on Windows with "tar (child): Cannot connect to C: resolve failed / gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file". PATH `tar` resolves to a GNU tar (Git/MSYS2) that misreads the absolute archive path "C:\...\engine.tgz" as a remote host:path spec. Pin extraction to the bsdtar shipped in System32, which handles drive-letter paths natively, with a relative-path fallback if it is absent. macOS/Linux behavior is unchanged.		2026-06-18 02:03:21 +05:30
