## 🎉 Recently Implemented Features

### 1. Universal Token Search Bar ✅

**Status:** ✅ COMPLETED  
**Location:** Sidepanel Header

#### Description
A universal search bar that allows users to search for any crypto token from any webpage, not just DexScreener.

#### Features
- **Works on any page** - No need to be on DexScreener
- **Multi-format search:**
  - Token symbol (e.g., "BONK", "SOL")
  - Token name (e.g., "Bonk", "Solana")
  - Contract address (Solana or Ethereum)
- **Instant analysis** - Shows token analysis widget immediately
- **Clean UI** - Search icon, clear button, placeholder text

#### Usage
1. Open sidepanel on any webpage
2. Type token symbol/name/address in search bar
3. Press Enter or click search icon
4. View instant token analysis

#### Technical Implementation
- **File:** `sidepanel/chat/ChatHeader.tsx`
- **Integration:** `sidepanel/chat/ChatInterface.tsx`
- **Handler:** `handleTokenSearch()` function
- **Widget:** Displays `token_analysis` widget with mock data

### 2. Multi-Page Token Detection ✅

**Status:** ✅ COMPLETED  
**Location:** Content Script + Sidepanel

#### Description
Automatically detects crypto tokens from various sources across different web pages.

#### Detection Sources

##### Twitter/X Detection
- **$TOKEN mentions** - Detects patterns like `$BONK`, `$SOL`, `$PEPE`
- **Regex pattern:** `/\$([A-Z]{2,10})\b/g`
- **Filters duplicates** - Shows unique tokens only

##### Contract Address Detection
- **Solana addresses** - Base58 format, 32-44 characters
  - Pattern: `/\b([1-9A-HJ-NP-Za-km-z]{32,44})\b/g`
  - Validation: Checks character variety to avoid false positives
- **Ethereum addresses** - 0x + 40 hex characters
  - Pattern: `/\b(0x[a-fA-F0-9]{40})\b/g`
- **Limit:** First 5 addresses to prevent spam

##### Trading Pair Detection
- **Patterns:** `TOKEN/SOL`, `TOKEN/USDT`, `BONK/USDC`
- **Regex:** `/\b([A-Z]{2,10})\/([A-Z]{2,10})\b/g`
- **Limit:** First 3 pairs

#### UI Component
**DetectedTokensList** - Shows detected tokens above chat
- Displays up to 5 tokens with chain icons
- Click any token to analyze
- Shows total count (e.g., "5 found")
- Compact design that doesn't obstruct chat

#### Page Type Support
- ✅ **Twitter/X** - $TOKEN mentions + addresses + pairs
- ✅ **Generic pages** - Contract addresses + trading pairs
- ✅ **DexScreener** - URL-based extraction (existing)

#### Technical Implementation
- **Content Script:** `content.ts`
  - `extractTwitterTokens()` - Twitter mentions
  - `extractContractAddresses()` - Blockchain addresses
  - `extractTradingPairs()` - Trading pairs
  - `extractPageContext()` - Orchestrates detection
- **UI Component:** `sidepanel/components/DetectedTokensList.tsx`
- **Integration:** `sidepanel/chat/ChatInterface.tsx`
- **Context:** `sidepanel/context/PageContextProvider.tsx`

### 3. Floating Quick Action Button ✅

**Status:** ✅ COMPLETED  
**Location:** Injected on crypto pages

#### Description
A Mevx-style floating button that appears on crypto-related pages for quick token analysis.

#### Features
- **Floating button** - Fixed bottom-right corner
- **Gradient design** - Purple gradient with smooth animations
- **Quick popup** - Shows token price, 24h change, chain
- **Full analysis** - Button to open sidepanel for detailed view
- **Smart positioning** - Doesn't obstruct page content

#### Supported Pages
- ✅ DexScreener (`*.dexscreener.com/*`)
- ✅ Twitter/X (`*.twitter.com/*`, `*.x.com/*`)
- ✅ CoinGecko (`*.coingecko.com/*`)
- ✅ CoinMarketCap (`*.coinmarketcap.com/*`)

#### UI Design
**Button:**
- Size: 56x56px circle
- Color: Purple gradient (`#667eea` → `#764ba2`)
- Icon: Sparkles (closed) / X (open)
- Shadow: Elevated with hover effect
- Animation: Scale on hover (1.0 → 1.1)

**Popup:**
- Size: 320px width
- Background: White with border
- Shadow: Elevated card shadow
- Content:
  - Token symbol & name
  - Current price (large)
  - 24h change (colored: green/red)
  - "Full Analysis" button

#### Technical Implementation
- **File:** `contents/floating-button.tsx`
- **Type:** Plasmo Content Script UI
- **Styling:** Inline styles (no Tailwind conflicts)
- **Message:** Sends `OPEN_SIDEPANEL` to background
- **Background:** `background/index.ts` handles sidepanel opening

## 🎯 Hybrid Token Detection System

The extension now uses a **hybrid approach** combining manual search and automatic detection:

### Manual Search (Universal)
- Search bar in sidepanel header
- Works on **any webpage**
- User types token symbol/name/address
- Instant analysis widget

### Auto-Detection (Context-Aware)
- **DexScreener:** URL-based extraction
- **Twitter/X:** $TOKEN mentions, addresses, pairs
- **Generic pages:** Contract addresses, trading pairs
- Shows "Detected Tokens" list
- Click to analyze

### Floating Button (Quick Access)
- Appears on crypto pages
- Quick popup with key stats
- Opens sidepanel for full analysis

2. Open sidepanel
3. Type "SOL" in search bar
4. Press Enter → Token analysis

1. Visit DexScreener or Twitter
2. See purple floating button (bottom-right)
3. Click → Quick popup with price
4. Click "Full Analysis" → Sidepanel opens

## 🐛 Known Issues

1. **Mock Data:** Currently using mock data for token analysis
2. **Detection Accuracy:** Solana address detection may have false positives
3. **Floating Button:** Doesn't detect current page token automatically yet
